Solid rivet - Solid rivetThe solid rivet creates a mechanical joint joining two or more sheet metal parts, metal ones in general. It is also used to join composite materials where welding cannot be used. It is not a removable joint as the mechanical approach is definite and can only be disassembled by removing the rivet itself. Capmac Industry uses this rivet to joint both pre-pierced sheet metal parts and as a self-piercing rivet which perforates sheets automatically.
